Liverpool Football Club, the team I support finally, after a couple of losses and many draws, got a win on the weekend at home to Wigan. Results haven't been great since the new and enthusiastic boss Brendan Rodgers has taken over but with his new style taking a while to be implemented properly and a lack of strikers not much more can be expected of him. At half time it was 0-0 and not looking great again but when the team got back out from the tunnel they seemed to have a bit more buzz about them and they showed this on the pitch when Luiz Suarez (Liverpool's only fit striker at the moment) put the reds ahead with a great strike just inside the penalty area. Enrique playing out of position and left wing was very impressive and provided a great pass for Suarez to score his second goal. Things were looking much better for the meryside team and Enrique's persistence finally paid off and he found a goal toward the end all hope for the Wigan side. All round it was a very good performance and the team have the momentum now to go on and do very well in the rest of the league and in Europe.
